A passion for wood, design and detail

Longo Woodcrafts was born from a simple appreciation for beautiful timber and the idea that everyday objects can be made a little more special.

Based in East Sussex, we design and create distinctive wooden pieces that combine the natural beauty of solid timber with modern precision. Our workshop brings together traditional woodworking techniques, CNC technology and careful finishing to turn ideas into pieces that are made to be enjoyed and treasured.

Where natural wood meets precision

Wood is at the heart of everything we do. We love the individuality of each piece of timber — the grain, colour and subtle variations that make every board different.

We carefully select our materials and often combine contrasting woods to create depth, character and detail. Maple, mahogany, walnut and other carefully chosen timbers each bring something different to a design.

Modern CNC technology allows us to create intricate details and repeatable precision, while the finishing process is where we take the time to bring the character of the wood to life.

Designed with purpose

We don’t want our products to simply look good. We want them to have a purpose, whether that’s a personalised gift, a piece of homeware, a desk clock or something completely unique.

Many of our designs can be personalised or adapted, allowing us to create something that feels genuinely yours. We also enjoy working from individual ideas and turning them into a finished piece of woodcraft.

Made in our East Sussex workshop

Every Longo Woodcrafts piece starts as an idea and passes through our workshop before it reaches you.

From selecting the timber and preparing the design to CNC carving, assembly, sanding and finishing, we take care over every stage. The process can involve precision and technology, but the result should always feel like something with character.

We are constantly experimenting with new designs, different combinations of timber and new ways of working with wood. That’s what keeps the workshop interesting — and means there’s always something new taking shape.

Made to be kept

We believe well-designed woodcraft shouldn’t be disposable or forgotten.

Our aim is to create pieces that become part of someone’s home, workspace or everyday life — objects that look better for being made from real wood and that can be enjoyed for years to come.
